Patient models required
Ultrasound Training Solutions Pty Ltd (UTS) is an established
medical ultrasound training specialist that teaches specialist
doctors such as obstetricians in the use of ultrasound scanning.
These doctors must practise the use of ultrasound on real
people to simulate real-life situations as would be encountered
in the workplace.

UTS is specifically seeking the services of a number of pregnant
women in the delivery of obstetric focused courses.
Will I be paid?
Yes, rates vary depending on the type of examination and time
taken.
When do you need me?
UTS runs courses during both the week and the weekend between
the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
How long will it take?
Session times are a maximum of one hour.
What sort of people do you need?
We are looking for models in their first trimester of pregnancy,
and also some patients who are not pregnant.
What do you scan?
We scan the pelvic organs and the baby.
How many people will scan me?
There will be a maximum of four doctors and an experienced
tutor in the room at any one time. Every measure possible
is taken to protect your privacy and ensure your comfort.
Is this an official medical scan?
Absolutely not. We will not provide an official report of
any kind. However, if we find anything unusual, we will advise
you and your doctor if you wish us to.
Can someone come with me?
Yes, you are welcome to bring a friend or partner.
Can I have copies of the images?
Yes - however you must bring with you a USB flash drive, or
alternatively we can send you a printout of selected images.
Where will you need me?
All courses are run at the UTS training facility in Ivanhoe
