Venue, travel and accommodation
Delegates are responsible for arranging and paying for their
own travel and accommodation. Delegates must book directly
with the hotel of their choice. For more information on the

How do I pay for an ultrasound course?
UTS currently accepts direct deposits, cheques and credit
card (VISA, MasterCard) as methods of payment. Details for
payment are below. All transactions must be made in Australian
dollars (AU$) and include GST.

Credit Card
UTS accepts payment by VISA and MasterCard only. Please fill
in the details as per the registration form or contact
us directly. A 2% surcharge will be applied to all credit
card transactions.
Can I make a down-payment deposit for a course?
Yes. UTS will accept a down-payment to secure a course position
and flexible payment terms can be negotiated. Please contact
us to discuss this.
Does UTS provide formal ultrasound training to become
an accredited medical sonographer?
No. At this point in time, UTS only delivers courses for
physicians who wish to use ultrasound as a clinical tool.

Are UTS courses accredited?
UTS courses have accreditation and MOPS or CPD approval from
a number of different institutions. You can find the relevant
accreditation information for each course on the course specific
pages accessible under the Course Information
menu.
Is there any pre-course reading material?
Yes. This will be mailed to you 2 weeks prior to commencement
of the course you are attending.
Can I reschedule or cancel my course? Do I get a
refund?
If you are not able to attend a UTS course, you can nominate
to send a substitute in your place. Confirmation of this
should be made in writing.
Confirm your cancellation in writing more
than thirty days prior to the event and
receive a 90 per cent registration
refund (including GST).
Confirm your cancellation in writing less
than thirty days prior to the event and
receive a 50 per cent refund
(including GST).
Regrettably no refunds can be made less than
7 days prior to the event or during the
course.
Once the course has commenced, no refund of
tuition fees is possible under any circumstances.
Is UTS compliant with the Privacy Act?
The personal information provided by you and collected by
UTS will be added to our database and will be used to provide
you with further information about UTS events and services
unless you indicate otherwise. Your contact details remain
with UTS and will not be forwarded to any third party for
any reason without your written permission.
