UTS mission and objectives
Our mission is to provide the highest quality practical and
theoretical ultrasound training to medical and allied health
personnel. This is achieved through the application of innovative
teaching techniques in an enthusiastic, relaxed atmosphere
to ensure that learning is quick, easy and fun.
UTS offers a world class program to customers in the ultrasound
field. Our programs are built upon the belief that performance
improvements must be specific, relevant, substantial and based
upon clear objectives in order to deliver results.
Attendance on our courses is strictly limited to ensure intensive
training and one-to-one tuition from our expert instructors
who are selected for their current practical experience, leading
edge knowledge and proven training and teaching skills.

2. Research-led course design
All courses address a specific need that has been identified
through research with people in industry, and will give you
valuable knowledge and practical skills which can be immediately
applied.
3. Stimulating course delivery
Our expert course directors use a variety of learning styles
and experience including lectures, practical hands on, case
studies and self-evaluation tests. Each course aims to provide
you with an ideal balance between knowledge acquisition and
the opportunity to practice your skill on real patients. UTS
use real patients with and witout pathology sought from the
general public to allow you to gain experience in 'simulated'
real world situations.
4. Limited numbers
All courses have limited participants so that you have ample
opportunity for interactivity and individual attention from
course directors during the course and can test your new found
skills in a controlled environment.
5. Comprehensive documentation
Comprehensive documentation specifically designed by UTS is
provided to enable participants to take away their own personal
portfolio as a permanent reference source.
6. Certification
On successful completion of a UTS course all participants
receive a Certificate of Achievement and recognition that
can contribute to continuing professional development requirements.
